The estate around the château was remade with the same money and the same enthusiasm. From the 1740s — 1743 is the year usually given — a faience manufactory produced tin-glazed earthenware here: plates, jugs, tureens and figures for the imperial court and the wider aristocratic market, built on the site of the old Haban potters' workshops and staffed partly with craftsmen brought in from abroad. It became the most important enterprise of its kind in the Habsburg lands, and Holíč faience is among the most collected of all Slovak ceramics today. Alongside it went a model farm — the eighteenth century trying to do agriculture properly, with imperial money behind it — and, in the nineteenth century, the big stone windmill that still stands at the edge of town, one of very few left in Slovakia. The manufactory closed in 1836 and its buildings were put to other uses, but what it made survives in museum collections.Panstvo okolo zámku prebudovali z tých istých peňazí a s tou istou chuťou. Od štyridsiatych rokov 18. storočia — obvykle sa uvádza rok 1743 — tu vyrábala manufaktúra fajansu, cínovo glazovanú keramiku: taniere, džbány, misy a figúry pre cisársky dvor aj pre širší šľachtický trh. Postavili ju na mieste starých habánskych hrnčiarskych dielní a obsadili sčasti remeselníkmi privedenými zo zahraničia. Stala sa najvýznamnejším podnikom svojho druhu v habsburských krajinách a holíčska fajansa dnes patrí k najzbieranejším slovenským keramikám. Popri nej vznikol vzorový majer — osemnáste storočie skúšalo robiť poľnohospodárstvo poriadne a malo na to cisárske peniaze — a v devätnástom storočí veľký kamenný veterný mlyn, ktorý dodnes stojí na okraji mesta a patrí k posledným na Slovensku. Manufaktúra skončila v roku 1836 a jej budovy dostali iné využitie, no to, čo vyrobila, prežilo v múzejných zbierkach.
