After 1989 the village went on doing what it had been doing, with nobody above it deciding what the story was supposed to mean. The parsonage still holds memorial rooms to Hurban and to the 1843 agreement, but it is a working parish house and the church beside it is a working church with a congregation, so the rooms are not continuously staffed: opening is usually by arrangement, and most of it happens around the July anniversaries. Anyone who cannot get inside can still stand in the yard where it was decided, which is most of what there is to feel here.Po roku 1989 robila dedina ďalej to, čo robila predtým, len jej už nikto zhora nehovoril, čo má ten príbeh znamenať.
