At the end of 2025 the village had 237 inhabitants, and a good many of the houses belong to people from Banská Bystrica who come at weekends. Visitors come for the covered stairway, the church on its rock, the klopačka and the marked mining trail up the valley, where mine water still runs out of the hillside. The lace is still made here, by women of the village, for the village. The old workings are not a show mine and are not made safe — this is a steep inhabited place with narrow lanes, not an attraction with a ticket office.Koncom roka 2025 mala obec 237 obyvateľov a nemalá časť domov patrí ľuďom z Banskej Bystrice, ktorí sem chodia na víkendy. Návštevníci prichádzajú za krytými schodmi, kostolom na skale, klopačkou a značeným banským chodníkom dolinou, kde zo svahu dodnes vyteká banská voda. Čipka sa tu stále paličkuje — ženy z obce ju robia pre obec. Staré diela nie sú sprístupnenou baňou a nie sú zabezpečené; toto je strmá obývaná dedina s úzkymi uličkami, nie atrakcia s pokladňou.
