On 21 May 1835 Štefan II Ilešházi, childless and the last of his line, sold Dubnica together with the rest of his estates to Baron Juraj Sina, a rich Viennese banker. Two and a half centuries of one family ended in a single document. The Sinas and their heirs held the estate into the twentieth century — Sina's granddaughter, Baroness Ifigénia d'Harcourt, still owned it before the First World War — but they were investors rather than residents, and the manor house was never a family home again.Dvadsiateho prvého mája 1835 predal Štefan II. Dve a pol storočia jednej rodiny sa skončili jedinou listinou. Sinovci a ich dedičia držali panstvo až do 20. storočia – Sinova vnučka, barónka Ifigénia d'Harcourt, ho vlastnila ešte pred prvou svetovou vojnou –, boli však investormi, nie obyvateľmi, a kaštieľ sa už nikdy nestal rodinným domom.
