In the second half of the fifteenth century Miková stops being written down at all. Villages on ground like this were fragile: a bad decade of raiding, taxation or disease and the people simply walked away, and the forest took the fields back within a generation. Which of those happened here is not recorded, and no honest account can supply it. What is recorded is that the place had to be founded a second time.V druhej polovici 15. storočia sa Miková v písomnostiach prestáva objavovať úplne. Dediny na takejto pôde boli krehké: stačilo zlé desaťročie plné vpádov, daní alebo chorôb a ľudia jednoducho odišli — a les si polia do jednej generácie vzal späť. Ktorá z týchto možností to bola, pramene nehovoria a nikto to za ne nesmie domýšľať. Zapísané je len to, že dedinu bolo treba založiť druhý raz.
