Since 1993 Stupava has grown fast as Bratislava has spread north, and much of the newer housing belongs to people who work in the city and sleep here. The town has kept the two things that are its own: the market gardens, celebrated at the cabbage festival that fills the streets every autumn, and the Ferdiš Kostka Museum, where the potter's wheel and kiln stand in his own house. The manor and its park are still waiting for a full restoration, which is visible from the outside. Above the town the trails climb into the Little Carpathians towards Pajštún — a wall of rock, a wrecked castle and a view that takes in Bratislava, the plain and, on a clear day, Austria.Od roku 1993 Stupava rýchlo rastie, ako sa Bratislava rozťahuje na sever, a značná časť novej výstavby patrí ľuďom, ktorí pracujú v meste a spia tu. Nad mestom stúpajú chodníky do Malých Karpát k Pajštúnu — skalná stena, rozbitý hrad a výhľad, v ktorom je Bratislava, rovina a za jasného dňa aj Rakúsko.
