The front crossed Spiš in the winter of 1944–45. In 1945 the property of the Csáky family — the castle standing in Žehra's own cadastre, and the manor at Hodkovce — was confiscated, and three hundred years of one family's ownership ended in a single year.V zime 1944 – 1945 prešiel cez Spiš front.
