After 1918 the glassworks found itself in a new country, behind new borders and facing different customers, and for a time it switched much of its output to lamp cylinders — the glass chimneys of paraffin lamps, still the ordinary way to light a house in most Slovak villages. By then Lednické Rovne was the largest and most modern plant in the whole Schreiber und Neffen firm, whose head office was in Vienna. A village in the Váh valley was supplying tableware to hotels, sanatoria and cafés across Central Europe.Po roku 1918 sa huta ocitla v novom štáte, za novými hranicami a s inými odberateľmi, a časť výroby na čas preorientovala na lampové cylindre — sklenené valce do petrolejových lámp, ktoré vo väčšine slovenských dedín stále znamenali svetlo. Lednické Rovne boli vtedy najväčším a najmodernejším závodom celej viedenskej firmy Schreiber und Neffen. Dedina na Považí zásobovala nápojovým sklom hotely, sanatóriá a kaviarne po celej strednej Európe.
