Nobody rebuilt the castle. The Maďašovský family, who held it in pledge, attempted repairs in 1746, but when their line died out in 1754 the crown took it back and let it decay. The estate had long since moved down to the manor house on the flats — a Renaissance building of the later sixteenth century, probably begun by Štefan Telekesy, enlarged in baroque style late in the eighteenth century and given a classicist face in the nineteenth. Around 1800 Count Aspremont laid out the park around it, and that park, with its old and exotic trees, is still the village’s garden.Hrad už nikto neobnovil.
