BodružalBodružal
By 1995 Bodružal had 29 houses and 77 inhabitants. The parish office moved out in 2002 after nearly three hundred and fifty years, the church was restored in 2004, and in 2008 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. What the listing protects is the whole ensemble — the church, the nineteenth-century timber bell tower, the stone wall, the gate and the graveyard crosses. Inside are a four-tier Baroque iconostasis of the eighteenth century and wall paintings of the Last Judgement and the Crucifixion from the same century. It is still a working Greek Catholic parish church, locked and opened by a keyholder, in a village where the Rusyn-Lemko dialect is still the language people speak to each other.V roku 1995 mal Bodružal 29 domov a 77 obyvateľov.
