SliačSliač
In the sixteenth century scholars in the Kingdom of Hungary began cataloguing its mineral waters, and the Sliač springs appear in those accounts. What made them worth writing about is a genuine oddity of chemistry: the water comes out warm and still carries a great deal of dissolved carbon dioxide. Gas normally escapes from water as it warms, so warm-and-strongly-carbonated is rare. Everything the spa does today rests on that one accident of geology.V šestnástom storočí začali učenci v Uhorsku spisovať jeho minerálne vody a sliačske pramene sa v týchto opisoch objavujú.
