Work picked up again from 2002, with a bigger campaign around 2010, and Beckov today is a staffed and ticketed ruin with a summer events programme rather than an abandoned one. The chapel is the reward: it is the one interior where the castle stops being a picturesque outline and becomes a building people prayed in. Out of season the gate can be shut even in fine weather, which catches out visitors who drive up for the silhouette they saw from the motorway. The village at the foot of the rock is not part of the ticket, and it is worth half an hour of its own — the best views of the crag are from down there, not from up here.Od roku 2002 sa práce rozbehli nanovo, s väčšou etapou okolo roku 2010, a Beckov dnes nie je opustenou zrúcaninou, ale zrúcaninou so vstupným, personálom a letným programom. Odmenou je kaplnka: je to jediný interiér, kde hrad prestáva byť malebnou siluetou a stáva sa budovou, v ktorej sa ľudia modlili. Mimo sezóny býva brána zatvorená aj za pekného počasia, čo prekvapí návštevníkov, ktorí sem prídu za siluetou, čo videli z diaľnice. Dedina na päte skaly do vstupenky nepatrí a zaslúži si vlastnú polhodinu — najlepšie pohľady na bralo sú práve zdola, nie zhora.
