Local tradition says a Hussite garrison took the castle and held it from 1431 to 1434. It is a believable story: Czech Hussite field armies really did raid this part of the kingdom in those years, and a little later the Czech troops of Ján Jiskra held real castles across Slovakia for decades. But when historians came looking for the evidence here they found none, and the settled view now is blunt — the Hussites were never on this hill. Keep that example. Príbeh sa môže opakovať stáročia, môže presne sedieť do doby, a aj tak nemusí byť pravdivý; jediný spôsob, ako to rozlíšiť, je hľadať dôkaz.
