Cut into the rock below the keep is a Roman inscription of AD 179 — the northernmost of its kind known north of the Danube in this part of Europe. Further away than Gýmeš in every sense, and worth a day of its own.Veľká pevnosť Považia, sídlo Matúša Čáka a jeden z najrozsiahlejších hradných komplexov v krajine. Do skaly pod hradnou vežou je vytesaný rímsky nápis z roku 179 — najsevernejší známy svojho druhu severne od Dunaja v tejto časti Európy. Od Gýmeša ďalej v každom zmysle a stojí za samostatný deň.
