2007–2008 A museum in the Bebek bastionMúzeum v Bebekovej bašte

The castle museum was founded in 2007 and opened its permanent exhibition in 2008 inside the great Bebek bastion — the one substantial building the demolition left standing, roofed again and put back to work after three hundred years. The exhibition is in Slovak and Hungarian, as the town is, and it treats the Ottoman period as part of the town's own history rather than as an interruption of it.Hradné múzeum vzniklo roku 2007 a v roku 2008 otvorilo stálu expozíciu vo veľkej Bebekovej bašte — v jedinej výraznej stavbe, ktorú búranie nechalo stáť, znovu zastrešenej a po tristo rokoch znovu využitej. Expozícia je slovenská a maďarská, ako je dvojjazyčné aj mesto, a osmanské obdobie podáva ako súčasť vlastných dejín mesta, nie ako ich prerušenie.
