Beckov today is a village of about 1,475 people — the count at the end of 2025 — living at the foot of a ticketed monument. Both churches are working churches, the Franciscan buildings still stand in the street, and the kúrie are private houses in every state from carefully restored to still waiting. Summer weekends bring castle traffic through a street that was never built for it, and parking is the usual friction; out of season the place is very quiet and the ruin can be shut even in fine weather. Cez letné víkendy sa do ulice, ktorá na to nikdy nebola stavaná, valí doprava smerujúca na hrad a parkovanie býva obvyklým trením; mimo sezóny je tu veľmi ticho a zrúcanina môže byť zatvorená aj za pekného počasia. Najlepší pohľad na celé bralo nie je z hradu, ale z cesty pod obcou, odkiaľ stojí voľne oddelené od všetkého okolo a človek konečne uvidí, aké je veľké.
