Súľov sits in one of the densest stretches of castle country in Slovakia. Within a short drive along the Váh there is a long ridge ruin, a great hilltop ruin under volunteer restoration, a Renaissance château on the valley floor, and the fortress that guards the river gorge itself.Súľov leží v jednom z najhustejšie „ohradených“ kútov Slovenska.
