Almost nobody comes to Súľov for the castle. They come for the Súľovské skaly — a national nature reserve of conglomerate towers, needles and natural gates above the village of Súľov-Hradná — and they take the ruin in on the way round. It is a small, free, unstaffed fragment of wall on a rock: the rocks are the spectacle, and the castle is one stop on the circuit.Do Súľova takmer nikto neprichádza kvôli hradu.
