The château still holds the archive; the Wedding Palace is looked after by the Považské Museum and has been reconstructed for exhibitions and events. So the two buildings that made this small town famous are both still doing work of a kind, four hundred years after a palatine built them to impress people. The courtyard with its two tiers of round-headed arcades is the best Renaissance courtyard in this part of Slovakia and can be walked into; the interiors depend on what is open that season. Pred cestou si to overte a najprv zámok obíďte zvonka — línia priekopy a veža brány spravia z pokoja na nádvorí oveľa silnejší zážitok.
