Žilina — where the Kysuca joins the VáhŽilina — kde sa Kysuca vlieva do Váhu
On the northern edge of Žilina, exactly where the Kysuca runs into the Váh, a round Romanesque tower has stood for some seven centuries. Budatín began as a customs castle on the trade road north toward Silesia and Poland. Today it is restored, roofed and open — the seat of the Považie Museum, and the keeper of the largest museum collection in the world devoted to drotárstvo, the Slovak art of wire — nearly 7,700 pieces.
