Piešťany sits on the Bratislava–Žilina main line: from ŽST Piešťany, trains run south toward Trnava and Bratislava and north toward Nové Mesto nad Váhom and Trenčín, and the bus station stands right beside the platforms. City and regional buses link the station and the centre with Banka across the river, Moravany nad Váhom to the south-east, Vrbové to the west and the borough of Kocurice.
