Prešov's other centre is the anti-Eperia. Where Eperia sits out on the Sekčov estate behind a field of parking, Novum stands on Námestie legionárov, at the northern head of the old town, stacked over four levels because that is the only direction a city-centre site can grow. It opened in 2020 — an unpromising year for opening anything — on a plot that has carried shops for generations, and it calls itself the new heart of Šariš.Druhé prešovské centrum je anti-Eperia. Kým Eperia stojí vonku na Sekčove za poľom parkovacích miest, Novum stojí na Námestí legionárov, na severnom čele starého mesta, naskladané na štyroch podlažiach — lebo pozemok v centre mesta môže rásť len jedným smerom. Otvorilo sa v roku 2020, v neveľmi sľubnom roku na otváranie čohokoľvek, na mieste, ktoré nesie obchody už po generácie, a hovorí si nové srdce Šariša.
