Aupark Bratislava

Aupark opened in 2001 on the Petržalka side of the Danube, at the foot of the bridge, and was the largest shopping centre in Slovakia when it did. Two decades on, the shopping is ordinary enough — what is not ordinary is the neighbour. Aupark stands directly against Sad Janka Kráľa, a park laid out in the 1770s and commonly described as one of the oldest public parks in Central Europe. The centre even borrowed the park's own historic name. Aupark stojí priamo pri Sade Janka Kráľa, parku založenom v sedemdesiatych rokoch 18. storočia, o ktorom sa bežne hovorí ako o jednom z najstarších verejných parkov strednej Európy.
