Vráble stands on the Žitava river about 20 kilometres east of Nitra, on the road towards Levice. The setting is gently rolling farmland at the southern foot of the Tribeč, warm and dry, with vineyards on the better slopes.Vráble ležia na rieke Žitave asi 20 kilometrov východne od Nitry, na ceste smerom na Levice. Engineering and metalworking remain the mainstay, with suppliers to the automotive plants in Nitra and further west.
