Nobody would call it beautiful, and it does not try to be. Centro is a low, wide block filling most of its site between Akademická, Výstavná and Trieda Andreja Hlinku, with an internal passage running through it on two trading levels and parking stacked on the roof as well as spread across the ground. The whole plan is arranged around the shortest possible distance from a parking space to a trolley to a boot.Nikto by ho nenazval krásnym a ani sa o to nesnaží. One thing sets it apart from a true edge-of-town retail park: it is not on the edge of anything. Chrenová is a fully built district of housing blocks, schools and university buildings, and the centre sits inside it rather than beyond it. People walk here from the surrounding streets as a matter of course, and the bus stops on the Hlinku road are a minute away. It is car-shaped, but it is not marooned.Jedna vec ho odlišuje od skutočného retail parku za mestom: nestojí na okraji ničoho. Chrenová je plne zastavaná štvrť s panelovými domami, školami a univerzitnými budovami a centrum leží v nej, nie za ňou.
