Across the river from Nitra's old town, in the wide left-bank district of Chrenová, stands the centre that got there first. Centro opened in 2006 — three years before Galéria Mlyny — on ground that had been the car park of the national agricultural exhibition grounds next door, and for a while it was the only modern shopping centre in the whole region. It is the car-borne half of Nitra's retail life: you drive here, you park on the roof, and you leave with the boot full.Za riekou od nitrianskeho starého mesta, v širokej ľavobrežnej štvrti Chrenová, stojí centrum, ktoré tu bolo skôr. Centro otvorili v roku 2006 — tri roky pred Galériou Mlyny — na pozemku, ktorý dovtedy slúžil ako parkovisko susedného národného poľnohospodárskeho výstaviska, a istý čas bolo jediným moderným nákupným centrom v celom kraji.
