Get this straight before you set out, because it is the single most useful thing on this page. Slovenská Ľupča is roofed and structurally sound, partly restored, and still being worked on. It is not a ruin you can wander freely, and it is not a finished museum with a ticket desk and a fixed circuit. The interior is seen by arranged guided tour in season, and exactly which rooms and courtyards are open changes from year to year as the restoration moves on.
