A long, broken ruin on a limestone ridge at the northern end of the Little Carpathians, with vineyards running up to the treeline beneath it. Most people arrive knowing one thing about Čachtice — the name of Elizabeth Báthory — and it is worth arriving knowing that the story is far more disputed, and far less certain, than the legend suggests.Dlhá rozlámaná zrúcanina na vápencovom hrebeni na severnom konci Malých Karpát, s vinicami stúpajúcimi pod ňou až k lesu.
