Engineering & Metalworking in KošiceStrojárstvo a kovovýroba v meste Košice

One plant dominates everything: the integrated steelworks in the south-west of the city, for sixty years the largest industrial employer in eastern Slovakia. Around it sits the trade it created — refractories, mill services, rolling and profiling, industrial gases — and beyond that the machine shops of the city and the engineering plants of the Kechnec park.Všetkému dominuje jeden závod: integrované železiarne na juhozápade mesta, šesťdesiat rokov najväčší priemyselný zamestnávateľ východného Slovenska. Okolo nich stojí remeslo, ktoré samy vytvorili — žiaruvzdorné materiály, hutnícke služby, valcovanie a profilovanie, technické plyny — a za ním strojárske dielne mesta a prevádzky kechneckého parku.
