The parish church's free-standing Renaissance bell tower on Horný val, built away from the church in the manner of an Italian campanile. The rebuilding of 1941 gave it a viewing terrace, opened to the public in 2013; the climb up the spiral stair passes the bells, a display of historical maps of Žilina and a relief model of the city as it stood in 1933.Samostatne stojaca renesančná zvonica farského kostola na Hornom vale, postavená mimo chrámu na spôsob talianskej kampanily.
