The noble kúria at the junction of Námestie slobody and Beňovského street, held since the late 19th century to be the birthplace of the traveller Móric Beňovský and marked with a plaque in 1908; restored in 1995–1998, it now houses the town library and a historical exhibition, and a memorial to Beňovský stands nearby.Šľachtická kúria na rozhraní Námestia slobody a Beňovského ulice, ktorú od konca 19. storočia označujú za rodný dom svetobežníka Mórica Beňovského a na ktorej v roku 1908 osadili pamätnú tabuľu; po obnove v rokoch 1995 – 1998 v nej sídli mestská knižnica a historická expozícia a neďaleko stojí Beňovského pamätník.
