From there the Tatras are half a day's drive north-east. Base yourself at Poprad or in one of the Tatra settlements and give the mountains two days: one valley walk from Starý Smokovec or Tatranská Lomnica, and one day at Štrbské Pleso or on the cable car if the weather allows it. Finish on the Spiš. Levoča and Spiš Castle are twenty minutes apart and are one UNESCO listing together with the church at Žehra; Kežmarok with its castle and wooden church is half an hour north. Košice, an hour and a half further, is the obvious last night and has the country's largest Gothic church and its best evening.Zakončite na Spiši.
